Is vintage the future?
What a strange question right? I’m not going to write a dissertation on the subject even if the theme could be a great philosophic theory. If, is vintage everything that is 20 and more years old, then as we are going on time, vintage is travelling with us. Girls, take care of your designer clothes and It bags, I’ll probably want to purchase them from you in 2037 years 😉
But on another note, we read so much horrible cases about the ruthless industry of fast fashion. But rarely talk about the million other alternative there is, even when on a budget. Choosing old or pre loved items, is one great way to recycle and to find original pieces nobody’s own. Everything I’m wearing on those pictures apart from my shoes and sunglasses, is 2nd or vintage. And I can’t imagine an other way to dress myself up.
What I wear: Beret (in red) / Sunglasses – Ray Ban /Jacket – Baz Vintage / Jeans – J-Brand / Belt – Here / Shoes – Dr Martens
Those Dr. Maten’s are a gift from my precious Boyfriend on the first Christmas we spent together. I cherish them since then. Dr Martens is a classic, it may not be everyone test, but let me tell you, a pair of those boots will last you a lifetime. I could probably pass them on to my future children! I love how classic they are, but still, are statement shoes. It is also my number one pair when the weather is cold and streets are sprinkled with snow and ice. They keep me safe at all times.
This beret again, it’s my favourite hat, but please notice the marvellous art deco brooch I put on it! I paired it with an
adorable badass 1980’s Bomber Jacket I found a few days ago. It would probably be a great piece for the shop, but for the moment I’ll keep it for myself 🙂
And those J.Brand Jeans are definitely a dream to wear but were way too long. I chopped them so that I can pair them with my entire booties collection.
